Implementation
SCTi has a comprehensive turn-key solutions delivery process that includes everything from complete project management through to a one-year warranty on changes made.
This turnkey solution includes:
- Acquiring the right materials and products to resolve issues
- Project managing contractors (either those designated by client or SCTi selected contractors)
- Establishing baseline energy levels and post-project energy levels to identify the energy reductions
- Comprehensive closeout process to ensure all operations are in line with client expectations
How it Works
Each solution is customized to fit with the recommended actions proposed in the report, but a typical implementation process includes:
1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We take on complete responsibility for full project management throughout implementation, using either client contractors or those recommended by SCTi. We are in constant contact with the on-site client representative to review plans, updates on progress, and discussion of approaches to ensure your requirements are being met throughout the project.
2. INCENTIVE MANAGEMENT
If applicable, we handle all of the application paperwork and pre and post energy metering required for energy incentives and rebates. All you have to do is wait for the cheque at the end of the process – up to 20% of the project value!
3. ENERGY CONSERVATION MEASURES
We provide a custom, detailed design of the Energy Conservation Measure being deployed to ensure it matches with your data centre operating requirements: nothing is cookie cutter.
4. PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
We manage the procurement of material and products with required vendors to ensure the correct products are ordered and delivered. You will only receive invoices from us throughout; we handle payment of vendors.
5. INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
We guarantee installation is done to your satisfaction and meets our high standards of work quality, ensuring the site works as expected.
6. CLOSE OUT
Close out includes a walkthrough of the site, explaining all changes that were made, training for site technicians or support staff (if required), extensive documentation including manuals and specifications, commissioning reports, CMMS forms, warranties, and updated drawings, if applicable.
